“Brad Paisley & Avery Drummer Molek – “Hot For Teacher, Live in Concert””
by Alan on Nov.28, 2014, under Bands, Music, Rock And Roll
Just saw this kid on YouTube and he is an amazing drummer and he is only 7 years old. In this video he is 6 years old and performing live with Brad Paisley rocking “Hot For Teacher”. Not only does Avery rock, but Brad Paisley plays a pretty mean guitar also.
Avery had also recently played an acoustic number of ” Love Gun ” with KISS. Avery has also sat in with numerous cover bands. Remember his name because I bet by the time he is 17 he is going to be a major player in rock and roll.

Last night we went to Canes Bar and Grill in Pacific Beach to see Platinum RockStars a rock tribute band that performs tributes to Journey, Boston, Foreigner, Def Leppard, Van Halen, and Bon Jovi.
It was a great night with some great music. The night started out with a little Boston, Foreigner and after a quick costume change Journey. When David Victor came back on stage with the red jacket, I swear it sounded like he was channeling Steve Perry. A great set of some great music that took me back to my younger years.
After a short break Van Halen was on stage performing some of their hits. I kept thinking the only thing that was missing was the fifth of Jack Daniels that Van Halen always seemed to be drinking in the 80’s. The lead guitarist Al Estrada (Founder of Van Halen Tribute Band Eruption) was not present last night but was replaced by Mike McManus of Queens Nation who did did a fantastic job.
Another costume change and Mike McManus steps on stage as Richie Sambora followed by David Victor as Jon Bon Jovi for some truly great Bon Jovi tunes. We were all living on a prayer.
The night finished up with some great Def Leppard tunes, sadly to say I had to leave before I could hear the whole Def Leppard set due to having to be up early for work the next morning.
I just saw Platinum RockStars will be playing Pala Casino Halloween night. I will need to call and make reservations this week. If you missed them at Canes dont miss them at Pala Casino.
Check their website Platinum RockStars for more show info
