Bell's Palsy and Me
September 24, 2009Anyone heard of Bell's Palsy before? I had once since a co-worker had gotten it several years ago. But most of who I have talked to have not heard of it. Well now I have an opportunity to inform more about it.
Seven days ago I was diagnosed with Bell's Palsy. A supposed temporary illness or nerve disorder of the face that is supposed to lessen over time. I created a separate blog to address it and track my progression. The blog url was Alan's Bell Palsy. Drop in and check on my progress.
Healthcare.gov
March 29, 2014Healthcare.gov is a joke. It uses Experian to verify your identity and also links to your federal tax return somehow.
My wife couldn't verify her identity because she had no credit history. That's crazy — it's the federal government, why couldn't she verify her identity using her social security and drivers license?
My son got further but when he was ready to choose a plan it wanted to make deductions from his federal tax return.
Stolen G1 Phone — A Good Deed
January 25, 2010Just over 30 days after I got my G1 it was stolen at work and I was going through G1 Android withdrawal. I found out I didn't have insurance on the phone and was going to have to pay full price to get another. I decided to go into my local T-Mobile store that I had started service with and talked to one of the reps and she verified there was no insurance on the phone. She called out the manager (Van) and he took a look at my account and was able to find a way to get me another G1 at NO COST to me.
If your in North San Diego and need a phone or help with your T-Mobile account I would suggest stopping into SD Wireless and speaking to Van.
